Past Workshops

In 2011, we offered Empowering Characters Emotions with Margie Lawson.

The 2010 workshop series is over. In 2010 we offered "Trends in Publishing: What You Need To Know" with Anne Petty, Lee Raymond and Barabra Joe Williams. We also sponsored “Creating the Right Detective: A Hands-on Workshop in Mystery Writing” with Glynn Marsh Alam and "Writing a Poetic, Cinemaatic Novel" with Mary Jane Ryals. In 2009, we offered Anne Petty on "The Art of the Short Story" and "The Business of Writing" and Donna Meredith on "The Heroine's Journey."  In 2008, we offered Glynn Marsh Alam on creating strong characters, Anne Holt on publishing and promoting, and Karen Schneider on creative nonfiction.
