Student Outreach (same font treatment)

 

The Tallahassee Writers Association offers nourishment and opportunity to writers of all ages. TWA authors are always pleased to speak to students of all ages, so don’t hesitate to ask.

 

• College – Students from Florida State University, Florida A&M, and Tallahassee Community college attend some of our general meetings as guests. A few also become members of TWA. We offer full-time students greatly discounted rates to attend the annual conference, co-sponsored by TWA and Florida State University.

 

• High School – High school students can become members of the Big Bend Writers Guild (BBWG).

 

• Elementary School – TWA helps local schools stage Young Authors Conferences (YAC). These programs offer recognition to students who produce well-written stories.
